Structure of KYN61-40.5 Armored Metal Enclosed Switchgear

• The switchgear consists of two main parts: a fixed cabinet and removable components.
• The cabinet is divided into four different functional units based on the electrical equipment inside: busbar compartment, circuit breaker compartment, cable compartment, and metering compartment.
• The enclosure of the cabinet and the partitions between the functional units are made by bending and riveting aluminum-zinc steel plates.
• The removable components of the switchgear include SF6 circuit breakers, handcart circuit breakers, and voltage transformer handcart.
• The switchgear is equipped with a live display device for monitoring the operation of the primary circuit (chosen by the user). This device consists of a high-voltage sensor and a display panel.
• The sensor is installed on the feeder side, while the display panel is mounted on the low-voltage compartment panel of the switchgear.
• The enclosure of the switchgear has an IP4X protection rating, and the circuit breaker compartment door has an IP2X protection rating when opened.
