Structure of YBM Prefabricated Substation
- The basic structure of a prefabricated substation consists of three main compartments: high voltage electrical equipment, power transformers, and low voltage electrical equipment. These compartments are arranged in the shape of either an “H” or a “Ʒ” (Pi) character.
- Compared to the “Pi” layout, the “H” layout allows for easier wiring, making it the more commonly used arrangement. On the other hand, the “Pi” layout provides a more compact structure, which is advantageous when space is limited.
- The enclosure of the prefabricated substation is fully sealed and can be made of high-quality steel plates, aluminum alloy plates, composite color steel plates, stainless steel plates, fiberglass-reinforced cement boards, etc. to ensure harmony with the surrounding environment.
- The high-voltage switchgear of the prefabricated substation can be equipped with gas-generating, gas-pressure, vacuum load switches, SF6 load switches, or vacuum circuit breakers based on user requirements. The high-voltage switchgear has “five protection” functions and can meet terminal, loop network, and dual power supply modes.
- The power transformers of the prefabricated substation can be non-metal alloy transformers, oil-immersed fully sealed transformers, or dry-type transformers. They can be equipped with gas protection and temperature control.
- The low-voltage switchgear of the prefabricated substation can be ABB, Schneider, Cooper, or domestically-produced high-quality switches. The capacitor compensation can achieve shared compensation, split compensation, full split compensation, and zero-crossing switching functions.
- The high and low voltage incoming and outgoing lines of the prefabricated substation are generally cables, but overhead lines can also be used for high voltage if required. Cable entry holes are provided for convenient cable installation. Each individual installation room is equipped with automatic lights that turn on and off with the opening and closing of the door.
